MALAVE, DAVID.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 3 at St. Bridget Church for David Malave, 47. He died March 29 at Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrium. Born in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, he lived most of his life in Jersey City. He was a carpenter and member of Local 926 in Brooklyn, having begun his carpentry career at the age of eighteen. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Bartolo Malave and Valentina Garcia; and a brother, Abel. He is survived by his children, David, Pedro, Adam, Anastacia Mya, Valentina Page Malave, Johnathan and Matthew Pierre-Luis. He was also the brother of Argentina Garcia, Juana Malave-Deautriell, Nearquina Malave-Colon, Lucy Malave, Mario Alberto Garcia and Gregory Malave. He was also the proud grandfather of one. Services arranged by the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
