A funeral mass was offered at St. Joseph of the Palisades Church, West New York, on March 25 for Joan M. O’Brien, 70. She died March 21 at her daughter’s residence in Freehold. She was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life in West New York. She was employed as a receptionist for a medical office and retired in 2005. She was also a longtime communicant of St. Joseph of the Palisades Church, West New York. She is survived by her husband, James, and her daughter Sharon O’Brien Peruzzi and husband Christopher. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
