A funeral mass was offered March 26 at St. Michael’s Church, Jersey City, for Helen E. (Hagan) Black, 94. She died March 22 at Sunrise at Wall, in Wall, N.J. She was born in Jersey City, and lived in Spring Lake Heights the last 10 years. She was a secretary for Flintkote Co. in Jersey City for 19 years. She retired in 1980. She was the daughter of the late Helen (Marion) and Peter Hagan, and the wife of the late Thomas A. Black. She was the mother of Joan Marie Bellotti, Claire Wisniewski, Thomas Black and Bernadette Maricic; the sister of Claire Wraga, Francis Hagan, Peter Hagan, Sr., Rita Madeline, S.C., Dorothy Gemmallo and John Hagan, and is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
