STUDENT TRUSTEES

Patrick Jarkowsky, second from right, of Belleville and Bianco Soto of Jersey City, both juniors at New Jersey City University, have been appointed to the New Jersey City University Board of Trustees. Rafael Perez, Esq. right, chair of the NJCU Board of Trustees, administered the oath of office to the student trustees at the December 8, 2008 meeting of the Board. A political science major and journalism and economics minor, Mr. Jarkowsky will serve a one-year term as a voting member of the Board; Ms. Soto who is double majoring in English and secondary education, will serve for one year as a non-voting member and the following year as a voting member of the Board. Dr. Carlos Hernandez, NJCU president, assisted in the ceremony.
