Dear Editor:
As I grow in a peaceful path, I realize how beautiful every day really is. The importance to be physically active and mentally tough. I need help to get a positive message across to the youth. I believe we can all help by telling our children the truth. It’s necessary to raise awareness to our middle school and high school about the dangers of gang affiliation.
In Hudson County many young students are attracted to false idols. I feel that it’s in our community’s best interest to stop this immediately. The gangs that are mimicked are violent and extremely harmful to individuals and downplay hope. Actions have always spoken louder than words.
Positive re-enforcement in our young community will be the turning point of these times.
