A funeral mass was offered Feb. 20 at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill, for Richard J. Hess, Sr. He passed away on Feb. 15. He was a Lieutenant for the West New York Police Department and a Coast Guard Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Maureen (nee Pascall); his children, Jeanine Roberts, Richard J. Jr. and his wife Karen and Nicholas; his siblings Ronnie, Carol Hess and the late Betty Doscher, and six grandchildren. Services arranged by the Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.
