DEANGELO, JAMES. Mass for James DeAngelo, 73, of Jersey City, was held Dec. 27 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Jersey City. He died Dec. 22 at St. Ann’s Home in Jersey City. Born on Jan. 20 1935 in Jersey City, DeAngelo was a lifelong resident. For 36 years, he worked as a technician for Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric Company, in Kearny, N.J. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and a volunteer at the Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus. Survivors include his wife, Anna DiGregorio DeAngelo; four children, Diane Pritzlaff, Kathryn DeAngelo, Linda Gentile and James C. DeAngelo; four grandchildren, Alexis and Erica Gentile, Lisa and Nicole Pritzlaff; and one great-granddaughter, Cali Roloson.
