9/11 Memorial Foundation launches website

Dear Editor:

The New Jersey 9/11 Memorial Foundation announces the launch of its website and on line store. Both can be reached at www.nj911memorial.org.

The Foundation was formed in April of 2008 to raise the additional funds needed to complete the construction of the Memorial, named “Empty Sky” being constructed in memory of the 743 New Jersey citizens killed during the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The Memorial will be located on the shore of the Hudson River at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, also the site of the historic Central Railroad Terminal and the departure point for ferry service to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The site overlooks the vista of the lower Manhattan Financial district.

For additional information choose the “Contact” tab at the website address.
