MERCADO, AURELIA. Services for Aurelia Mercado, 91, of Jersey City, were held Oct. 16 at Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City. She died Oct. 13 at Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrium, Jersey City. Born in Caborojo, Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States in 1949 and lived in Jersey City since 1973. Mercado was a seamstress for a clothing manufacturer in Brooklyn for many years. Survivors include two sons, Richard and Joe Mercado; a daughter, Judy Creech; a brother, Enrique Cruz; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
