Dear Editor:
Church Square Park here on Fourth St. used to be great for having flea markets in. Sometimes there would be one every month while the weather was nice. It was a wonderful way for local people here in town to get rid of junk and stuff and make a few bucks, too! I’ve talked to several vendors who used to set up around the park, and they have no idea why the flea markets have been scaled back to a few times a year.
With the economy in such bad shape, you’d think different groups would be sponsoring flea markets more often.
