Dear Editor:
I wanted to take this opportunity to inform the public that we are nearing the completion of the beautiful new Hoboken World War II Memorial. I wanted to personally thank Mayor Roberts for his support throughout this important project. The World War II Memorial will stand as a fitting tribute to the brave men and women of the greatest generation. Equally important, the Memorial will also remind each and everyone of us to take a moment to honor the men and women serving our country right now so that we can live freely in the best nation in the world.
So many individuals have helped to make the WWII Memorial a reality. When we open the spectacular site, I will once again share my gratitude to the many individuals who have worked tirelessly on the project. So, thank you again Mayor Roberts for your support in honoring our WWII veterans. As a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, I can assure you that it is a deeply moving tribute which we will always treasure.
