ALVAREZ, NELSON. Viewing for Nelson Alvarez, 85, of West New York, was Oct. 8 at Morgado Funeral Home, Union City. He died Oct. 7 at Hudson View Nursing Home, North Bergen. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, he moved to the United States in 1980. Alvarez was a policeman in Cuba. Survivors include a son, Nelson; three grandchildren, Leisbeth, Nelson and Janeth; and six great-grandchildren.
