On Monday, September 29, 2008; husband of Lois (Gartley); father of George R. and wife Mischel of Bayonne, William J. and wife Mae of Bayonne, Tom A. and wife Janet of Bayonne, James P. and wife Monica of Bayonne, John M. of Keansburg, N.J. and Daniel R. “Danny” of Bayonne; grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of three; brother of Frank Elias and wife Mary of Bayonne, Helen Tomei and husband Val of Hillsborough, N.J., and Theresa Rodak and husband Stanley of Florida and the late George Elias; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held from the DZIKOWSKI, PIERCE & LEVIS Funeral Home. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
