Dear Editor:
In reference to your Volume 24, #23, Sunday August 3, 2008, the front page, about the trailer park. I would like to inform you that Mr. Kaufman’s statement of 20 trailers having moved is not what happened. No trailers have moved out of this park (I speak of permanent based residents.)
The trailers he is referring to were temporary travel trailers that were based here for a few months because of the crane accident in New York. They were troubleshooters from all over the United States and rented a spot for their travel trailers while they took care of business. All of them were here only a few months.
I would appreciate this being cleared up in your next printing. Thanking you in advance for being fair in this matter.
