Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Jimmy King Civic Association we would like to thank all our members who donated macaroni and cans of tomato sauce to feed the homeless for Easter. We would also like to thank Michael’s Salumeria Italian Deli for the donation of meatballs and Italian bread.
Kudos goes out to Guy Catrillo and members of the Dante Alighieri Society for the use of their hall.
It was a successful endeavor; we fed over 200 walk-ins and delivered over 200 meals to shut-ins.
Thanks to all who helped serve the meals, deliver them and worked tirelessly in the kitchen.
