Ishle Yi Park, a spoken-word artist who’s been featured on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, headlines the season finale of the Art House in Jersey City. Guided walking tours take place this Sunday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tours leave every half hour from the Hoboken Historical Museum. The Frozen Monkey Café will showcase the artwork of Ted Jaslow, Katharina Castiblanco Grammer, Keith White, and Pat Rocco starting on Thursday, June 3. The exhibit, Artists from the Silk Mill, will feature paintings and sculptures by the artists, all of whom have studios at the Silk Mill on 39th Street in Union City. The Hudson Theatre Ensemble, a professional community theatre currently in its fourth season, will perform the play – a musical comedy about the dating scene – at the Hudson School Performance Space at 601 Park Ave. in Hoboken.
