Get a tax credit by donating your unwanted car, truck or van

Dear Editor:

As the end of the tax year 2003 approaches, you can help save a life and receive a tax deduction by donating your unwanted car, truck or van 1990 or newer, running or not, to the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America’s LifeCars Program. By calling the Foundation, you will be speaking with an experienced staff person, not a third party telemarketer, who will take you through the steps of how easy it is for you to make this donation. The Foundation not only provides professional service but will pick up the vehicle free of charge and will issue you a letter that may be used for tax purposes.

This donation will assist the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America, Inc., a national non-profit organization that is not government funded and relies solely on public donations, in supporting those afflicted. More than 70 million Americans – one in four people – is afflicted with kidney, hypertensive or urologic and prostate diseases. The Foundation is in its sixth decade of working on behalf of patients and their families, and those at risk of these diseases.

Through programs that foster research and professional education and directly support the patient, the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America, Inc., is a crucial resource that touches the lives of millions of people. By making a donation to the LifeCars Program, you can truly make a difference in the lives of others.

For more information on how you can donate your unwanted vehicle to the Foundation’s LifeCars Program and help save lives, or if you would like more information about the Foundation, call the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America, Inc., at 1-800-633-6628 or visit us on the web at www.kidneyurology.org.
