Dear Editor:
The West New York 9/11/03 Flag Raising and Memorial Service conducted by West New York Police and North Hudson Firefighters was memorable, as they commemorated (1) that the victims died just because they were Americans, or friends of America (2) that when people rightly fled the catastrophe, our Police and Firefighters bravely went toward the catastrophe, to try to save lives, at great cost and (3) America will never forget them and the innocent victims.
