It is heartening to learn that ex-Senator Torricelli has “resurfaced as a significant behind-the-scenes player in New Jersey politics, with influence in major government contracts and multi-million dollar business deals.” (NY Times, Aug. 27.)
For a while there I was afraid New Jersey might lose its reputation as one of the most corrupt states in the U.S.
What next, Janiszewski for governor? (After he gets out of jail, of course.)
