Thank you all for keeping Morris’ dream alive for LSP

Dear Editor:

Frank Gallagher conducted the January 27 N.J.D.E.P. public hearing admirably. It was about plans for Liberty State Park’s natural area perimeter. The main controversy was between open space or a privatized commercial waterpark.

When Frank asked if I wanted to speak (being a member of the committee), I declined only because I didn’t think I could keep my composure.

I wish to thank the representatives of local and state organizations and the many individuals who attended the meeting.

I know that Morris was looking down as us and saying “thank you for keeping my dream alive.”
