Stand up and fight for a fair contract

Dear Editor:

Come one, come all, AFSCME Local 2262 and rally for a fair contract against the Jersey City Board of Education on February 15 at the Central Office on West Side Avenue.

Do you want to work for nothing and not get paid for your services than stand up and fight for a fair contract?

We need all the help we can get. I am asking all politicians and all people who belong to any kind of union, come and help us out.

It seems to me the Jersey City Board of Education is going back to the dark days of slavery where you didn’t get paid for your services. This is the year 2001; nobody works for nothing. I am asking and saying please attend the meeting. It’s very important.

Paul A. Maiellaro
