A mass of Christian burial was held Feb. 12 at St. Peter’s RC Church, Point Pleasant Beach, for Michele M. Moffit, 57. She passed away Feb. 9 at Ocean Medical Center. Born and raised in Jersey City, she moved to Point Pleasant 11 years ago. Mrs. Moffit was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. She was a member of the Humane Society, Friends for Animals and Wings of Hope. Mrs. Moffit was predeceased by a sister, Jo Ann Cataldo, in 2009. Surviving are her husband John of Point Pleasant Borough; two daughters, Jillian Campana and her husband Luis, and Sara Moffit, both of Point Pleasant; a sister, Cathy McShane of Point Pleasant Borough; and one grandson, Luis John Campana.
