CRINCOLI, DOMENICO

Funeral mass was offered Feb. 12 at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, for Domenico Crincoli, 74, developer and entrepreneur, of Jersey City. He died Feb. 7 at his home with his family by his side. Domenico was born in 1936 in the town of Vallata, Avellino, Italy. He immigrated to the United States with his parents Emilio and Angiolina along with his ten brothers and two sisters. He lived with his nephews Stanley, Michael, Emilio Crincoli and nieces Angiolina and Maria Crincoli. Domenico graduated college and began his career as a successful developer and entrepreneur. Domenico, with his brother’s Rocco and Gennaro, founded their own construction company. They were key figures in developing many areas of Jersey City, particularly building many homes on Manila Avenue, Montgomery Street and Beacon Avenue.
Domenico was an active member of his community and contributed to many American and Italian organizations. He was a member of the Columbus Club and Dante Alighieri Society both are rooted in Jersey City. He was also a member of the Vallatese Association in Elizabeth. Throughout his life, Domenico was an active parishioner of Holy Rosary Church on 6th street in Jersey City. Domenico was an elected committee member in his district. Domenico was the son of the late Emilio and Angiolina Crincoli; brother of Italo Crincoli, Pasqualina Mesbah and the late Antonia Mazza, Antonio, Natalino, Stanislao, Vito, Carmine, Rocco, Salvatore “Paul”, Gennaro, and Dr. Rosario “Gerard” Crincoli. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews and 46 grand nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
