To the Editor:
The Ray Greaves Association would like to thank everyone for making the first annual Ray Greaves holiday party a huge success! The holiday party was extremely well attended, bringing together many concerned citizens who share in the belief that by being active in our community we can make Bayonne an even better place to live.
The event would not have been possible without the generous support of many of our local businesses and citizens, such as: Amalgamated Transit Union, Uptown Blimpie, Broadway Diner, Century 21 Costanza & Providence Real Estate Agency, American Legion Unit 19, Donohue, Gironda, & Doria CPAs, J&J Printing, LaGuardiola Restaurant, Manny’s Liquors, Mediterraneo Restaurant, Pizza Masters, LCS Business Systems, Partnership Financial Services, Dr. Jack Smith, Dr. John Franconeri, Nick Capodice Association, and many others.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to those at the Masonic Lodge for their hospitality and the use of their facility.
One of the main goals of our association is to raise funds to support programs that create a positive impact on our local community. Therefore, a portion of the event’s proceeds will go to the Parent Teachers Association of our Third Ward public schools: Horace Mann, Woodrow Wilson, and Washington School. We look forward to broadening the success of the event to future activities and endeavors.
The main aspect taken from the evening is that there are many wonderful and generous people in our community that want to make a difference. We look forward to the challenge.
