On behalf of the third grade class at T.G. Connors School, we would like to thank Councilman Occhipinti for his generous gift. His commitment to helping our community is sincerely appreciated.
This past December our class was able to go on a field trip and learn the multicultural traditions of holiday celebrations with little cost to the students and their families. Through these tough economic times in our Hoboken community, we did not want to impose on the families. However, we still wanted the children to have an opportunity to have a festive time before the December break. This is possible because of the generous contributions from people like Councilman Occhipinti. As you know the cost of field trips never go away, so we hope for continued support in the future.
