Funeral mass took place March 16 at St. Joseph of the Palisades Church, West New York, for Jane M. Stratford, 83, formerly of West New York. She passed away March 11 at the Harborage Nursing Home in North Bergen. Born in New York City she was a retired executive secretary for the Fordham University in New York City and also worked for St. Joseph’s High School, West New York, as a secretary, librarian, and typing teacher for 23 years. She was the wife of the late Bernie Stratford; mother of Bernie Stratford and his wife Regina, Denis Stratford and his wife Marni, Timothy Stratford and his wife Donna, Maribeth Millar and her husband Jamie; sister of Matthew Carcich; grandmother of Denis Byron, Matthew, Ian, Tim, Connor, Katie-Jane, Michael, Cory, Hailey, Sophia, Evan and Casey; and 6 great-grandchildren.
