Jersey City is one of five N.J. cities to go to Harvard

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — The Center for Community Progress, a national organization, has a new initiative that brings together city officials from Orange, Irvington, Newark, Jersey City, and Millville to participate in a week-long session at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. This national leadership institute will focus on adaptive reuse and turning vacant properties into community assets. Following the session, which will be held from March 15-18, Community Progress staff will visit each city to work with local governments to apply ideas from the institute.
