Private funeral services have been held for Joann Thompson, 90. She passed away March 5 at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. Born in Pennsylvania, Joann lived most of her life in Jersey City and was employed in building maintenance. Joanne was predeceased by her husband Richard Thompson; her daughter Patricia Selvaggio; and four brothers, Joseph, Louis, Albert and Charles. She is survived by her son Walter Thompson; son-in-law James Selvaggio and many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
