Funeral services were held March 13 for Gloria Thomson M.S.W., L.C.S.W., 78, of Secaucus. She passed away Feb. 26. Gloria is survived by her son Patrick; her two granddaughters, Katherine and Angela; her Aunt Emily, brother, George and sister, Anna. Katherine and Angela lovingly referred to her as their Grammy Bear. Gloria was quite accomplished. She attained a master degree from NYU, she was a licensed clinical therapist, an adjunct professor at William Paterson University, and ordained Reverend of the Quimby Church in Secaucus. Gloria touched the lives of all who knew her in a positive and beautiful way. She was a Reiki Healer and actively held Metaphysical Bible study classes on a monthly basis at Divine Inspiration Bookstore in Nutley. She was associated with Mystical World in Lyndhurst. Gloria was a spiritual student; she has touched many lives with her lessons. She will be missed by many.
