Township Administrator Christopher Pianese claims that beautifying Boulevard East was “done without any taxpayer money.” (Beautifying JFK Blvd East, Feb. 20, North Bergen Reporter)
Where, exactly does he think state and federal grants come from? Whether or not you think it was a good idea, I am concerned that township administrators, paid by taxpayers, aren’t clear on who funds their budgets.
