To the Editor:
I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who attended our first Ray Greaves Association meeting on March 22. To the more than 100 residents who joined that evening and made a commitment to community involvement, I commend you and eagerly look forward to working together with each and every one of you to make a positive impact on our community.
To the Parent Teacher Organizations of Horace Mann, Washington, and Woodrow Wilson schools, we were extremely happy to be able to provide each of you with a donation of $500. Because of your dedication, we are confident it will be put to good use for the benefit of our young children.
One of this association’s main focuses will be working with our youth to build a stronger community. Our committees are aggressively working on providing activities and opportunities for all to participate in and be a part of.
