Prom promise

To the Editor:
The worse behavior hurts those around us, and in the most extreme cases, the people we leave behind. I’m talking about the very worst behavior, driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Nationwide, Prom Promise, started in 1990, was the first program to combat underage drinking. In 2005, MADD created a year-round underage drinking prevention program called THINK for high school students across the country. THINK replaced Prom Promise.
As a part of our sponsorship, European Day Spa and Salon supports the national campaign to eliminate drunk driving and supports programs to reduce underage drinking while enhancing teen driving safety.
European Day Spa and Salon would like to offer one free service to each high school senior attending 2011 prom. You have a choice: hair cut, refresher facial, or manicure. Just sign Prom Promise, bring it to us, and enjoy your service.
Visit our website for more details at www.SpaOfBayonne.com, and find more fantastic prom specials.
Have a time of your life! Stay safe.
