State pitches in for uptown road collapse construction

HOBOKEN – The State Department of Transportation agreed to help with Hoboken’s
uptown road collapse cleanup and construction with a $1.5 million payment, according to a report in the Star Ledger. The county owned road collapsed on Oct. 8, and officials have said the road will be operable again in late May.
The cost of the entire project is $1.7 million. The construction is being done by Langan Engineering of Elmwood Park.
