Dear Editor:
If you haven’t noticed, UPS has removed their delivery truck from the PATH station/ River Street Post Office area to “save money.” Most Hoboken residents are away from home from 9-5. UPS drivers will make several delivery attempts while people are not home and wind up taking the package back to the Secaucus location. We used to be able to tell UPS to leave the package with the UPS truck by the PATH station so we can pick up the package ourselves and save everyone the aggravation of failed delivery attempts and trips to Secaucus.
If you want the UPS truck back, please contact UPS and make this request. If they hear it from enough people, maybe they will bring it back. You can go to their website and submit the request online, or call them. http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/contact/index.html 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877)
