Hoboken council to hold special council meeting Wednesday, then budget hearing

HOBOKEN – The Hoboken City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, March 23, at 6 p.m. at City Hall to address police pay, as well as a separate issue about an uptown property that will most likely cause the council to enter executive session.
At the last meeting on March 16, the council agreed to adjourn at midnight, which left some items on the agenda unaddressed. One ordinance that was not introduced needed to be passed to pay police officers following their new contracts.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., and then the council will convene for a hearing on the proposed municipal budget at 7 p.m.
