Board approves Main Towing expansion

Only three residents spoke out at the April 6 North Bergen zoning board meeting regarding Main Towing’s request for variances to expand. This was in contrast to a February meeting at which more than 100 residents packed the room.
The township approved the variances, on several conditions. Among them, the company may not increase the number of vehicles on the property by more than 10 percent, and the company must get the necessary county and state approvals.
