HUDSON COUNTY — There’s some great reading in store for you in the Hudson Reporter newspapers this weekend. So pick up your local edition in North Bergen, Secaucus, Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken, Guttenberg, Bayonne, Union City, and West New York. First of all, a lamb and a goat were found on the streets of Union City in separate incidents in the last few weeks. One resident says she knows the mysterious source of these errant farm animals — and she’s a bit concerned.
Next, a Secaucus High School student was apparently forced to meet with teachers and write a letter of apology, all because he asked a question about art classes at a school board meeting last month. In North Bergen, the Planning Board approved a controversial development near a gas line, with residents shouting “Shame!” Read this story in the North Bergen Reporter.
In Hoboken, a resident is set to win an award for political reform, after he was thrown in jail for having guns he believed were legal. He fought the law and he won.
