Funeral services took place April 8 at New Bethel Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Augustus Sandifer, Jr., 61. He passed away April 2. He was the husband of Linda Sandifer; son of Gloria and Augustus Sandifer, Sr.; father of Sean (Jamillah) Crawford, Torin, Terell and Anton Sandifer, Shatanta and Trevor (Diana) Williams; brother of Brenda (Alvin) Hall, Sharon “Tootisie” (Anthony) Abbruscato and Randy (Arlene) Sandifer; brother-in-law of Tyrone (Carnita) Brown, Atiba Noumba and Jackie Halsey; also survived by 16 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
