JERSEY CITY – The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced Friday that it is doing bridge repair this weekend on the Route 7 Wittpenn Bridge over the Hackensack River in Jersey City.
The closing is due to the $3.7 million bridge repair project. The bridge will remain shut from 10 p.m. Friday until 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Also, expect periodic closings between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Monday through Thursday.
