A funeral mass was offered May 10 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Catherine Dzik. She died May 6 at St. Ann’s Home, Jersey City. A lifelong Jersey City resident, she was the daughter of the late Caroline and Peter Dzikowicz. She retired from Great American Insurance Company, New York City. She was a member of the Our Lady of Mercy and Zion Lutheran Church Senior Citizens Club. She was the wife of the late Walter Dzik; mother of Walter, Richard and Clifford Dzik; sister of Chester and Veronica Dzikowicz, Stella Cardillo, Agnes Lenczuk, Helen Slodowski and the late Anthony, Sigmund, Walter and Joseph Dzikowicz; and grandmother of three and four great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews surviving her.
