Why rehabilitation? – haven’t we lost enough?

Dear Editor:
The first page of last week’s Reporter paper read: Planning Board eyes Neumann Leather building. But what really got my goat was what Commissioner Joseph Crimmins reportedly said: I absolutely do not like the building and in general I think the building needs to go.
What gave Mr. Crimmins the right to play with and dictate peoples lives and livelihoods!
Neumann Leather is a wonderful old and charming building that practically dates to the 1860s. A lot of talented and hardworking men and women have made this building into a lucrative and productive work space.
