LUCIGNANO, MILDRED

A funeral mass was offered June 27 at St. Francis Church in Hoboken for Mildred Lucignano, 80, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away in the presence of her family at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood on June 23. A retired book keeper with the Putnam Book Co. in Rutherford, Mrs. Lucignano was born in Hoboken, and lived there most of her life. Predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1971, she is survived by two daughters, Tilda Pellegrino and Rosemary Lyle; their husbands, Joseph and Rocky; two sons, Joseph and Dominick; two daughters-in-law, Paula and Rosanna; a brother, Joseph Rubbinaccio; and a sister, Florence Spagnoli. A great joy in Mildred’s life were her grandchildren, Joseph, Melissa, Joseph, Courtney, Jillian, Nicholas, Damiano, and James; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jordan, and Peyton. Mildred was a devotee of the St. Jude Society in Jersey City for many years. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
