A funeral mass took place June 24 at Our Lady of Grace Parish Spanish Community for Rosalina Gomez, 61, of Hoboken. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the Hamilton Park Health Center in Jersey City on June 21. Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, Rosalina migrated to New York and shortly became a resident of Hoboken for most of her life. An administrative assistant to the executive director for the Hoboken Housing Authority, Ms. Gomez came in contact with the everyday operations for the Housing Authority. She leaves a husband, Victor; two sons, Eduardo and his wife Sandra Gomez and Hoboken Police Office Wilfredo Gomez; two brothers, Jorge and Robert; three sisters, Inocencia, Celia, Agustina. Rosalina was grandmother to Samarah, Jordan, Brandon, and Andrew Gomez. Rosalina was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Parish Spanish Community. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
