Dear Editor:
I would personally like to say, To Mayor Gonnelli and the Town Council, “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”
The street fair in my opinion, was a huge success!
The streets were packed full of town residents, young and old alike. I saw a lot of smiles, heard a lot of laughter, everyone just enjoying themselves. And reminiscing of the “good old days” of yesteryear, when we used to have the carnival’s in the center of town and the block parties. Times of fun and laughter, an era in the 60’s and 70’s, just a distant memory. Until it was brought back to life with an old fashioned street fair!
What a wonderful way of bringing our community together. A way of meeting old friends and making some new ones, great food, great people, great entertainment, good times!
I can’t wait to see what Mayor Gonnelli and the Town Council will surprise us with next.
