WNY gets new police director

WEST NEW YORK — Michael Indri was sworn in to the position of police director at the West New York commissioners’ meeting on Wednesday, July 20 in the presence of local officials and residents.
The department was already in the process of considering a replacement for Al Bringa after the new mayor came into office in mid-May. Officials said they considered Bringa’s salary too high at $194,000. Bringa was immediately replaced by captains Donald Gribben and Michael Indri.
