Stand back and take a better look

Dear Editor:
The Hoboken Library has multiple copies of the New Jersey Sting. I picked it up, because I thought it might be funny – like I find Mayor Zimmer – funny. When the police were fired, they were fired. Then it was discovered that people were unhappy. Mayor Zimmer immediately told the people not to worry about the fired police or their families – they would be alright. Then, she found out that the people simply wanted their police, so, adjustments were made to keep their protection. It was too funny to hear her surprise when the people did not want what she deemed they would need. It was great to see her back step. When developers had a meeting and all of them were not invited, they crashed it. Why! All developers should have been invited. Oh, yea and the time she went running across the street with an attorney for an appointee that was dealing with a personnel problem in an unlikely manner. Yes, and then there is the matter of the gag order on city hall. That’s funny too, because we all ‘get it’. Their talking would not make ‘the other side’ look bad. Yep, funny. I did not find the New Jersey Sting funny. It was totally sad. Lives were demolished, because of a lousy $5000.00 dollars. What is that? Nothing – less than $500.00 per month. Too sad. Kudo’s to Russo for not taking it. Contrary to statements made, everybody would not accept $5000.00, or nothing for their way of life. Kudo’s, also, for the way he handled it. I got positive mail for the election. Positive: Working for you & my district mail!!! Stand back and take a better look. It isn’t only “old Hoboken”, voting for Michael. I like his style.
