HOBOKEN – Police were called to the scene of a “decomposed body” near the New Jersey Transit Light Rail train tracks near 8th and Jackson streets on Saturday evening, according to two local online reports.
A call to the Hoboken Police Department Detective Bureau was not immediately returned.
The Jersey City Police, Hoboken Police, and New Jersey Transit Police departments were all on the scene, according to a local report. The call came in over the police scanner at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 13, according to one report.
