Hurricane Irene predicted to hit New Jersey; check out this track

HUDSON COUNTY — Hurricane Irene is now expected to slam into the Mid-Atlantic states including New Jersey this weekend, forecasters say.
Although it is too early to tell the hurricane’s track, it may hit the Garden State on Sunday, Accuweather predicts. This tracker on CNN shows the storm hitting as a category 1, bringing 85 mile per hours winds.
A direct hit to the New York/New Jersey area is rare, and could be devastating, some say. For a link to our story on that scenario, click here.
