BONNER, MARY

A celebration of the life of Mary Bonner, 91, was held Oct. 7. She died Sunday, Oct. 2 at her home in Cogan Station, Pa. She had resided in the area for the past five years and was formerly of Guttenberg. She was the widow of the late John Bonner. Mrs. Bonner had been the owner of both the Bonner Bakery and Coffee Shop in Jersey City. She had previously been employed as a seamstress in a textile factory at Hudson County. Born in Petrova, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Bibko Demjanovich. Her passion was her family. She enjoyed playing scrabble and was a longtime fan of the New York Yankees. Surviving are her two daughters, Maureen Bonner and her late partner, Joyce Morrissey of Liberty Township, and Patricia Bonner and her husband John Foote of Stony Gap, Lycoming County; her son, Charles Bonner and his wife Suzette of North Bergen; her three grandchildren; Amber Hinshaw Lazorwitz and her husband Matthew, Arrianna Bonner and Luke Hinshaw and his wife Heather; her two great grandchildren Ella Caroline Lamey and Petrova Violet Hinshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her late parents and her late parents and her late husband, she was also preceded in death by her two brothers, John Demmy and Edward Demjanovich. Services arranged by the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, South Williamsport, Pa.
