To the Editor:
I’m writing to thank the woman I met at TJ Maxx last week.
I was shopping for pajamas and books for a Pajama Drive that All Saints Catholic Academy is doing to help needy children. I stopped to talk to someone about the drive and a woman overheard what we were talking about. She asked who was running the drive, what we needed, and how she could help. I thought nothing of it until she found me a little later and handed me a bag with pajamas and a book in it. Thank you!
You have restored my faith in the goodness of people. You provided me with a lesson for my students about random acts of kindness and the need to “pay it forward.” Once again, thank you. You never gave me your name, but you know who you are.
